Bentpla Gel is a topical gel from Taiguk Pharm in South Korea, made for bruises and local swelling. It comes in a 15 g tube and is never injected. Clinics keep it as an aftercare item for patients who bruise after filler, toxin or booster sessions.
What is Bentpla Gel?
Bentpla Gel is a clear gel that combines three actives: heparin sodium, aescin and glycol salicylate. Each gram contains 400 I.U. of heparin sodium, 10 mg of aescin and 20 mg of glycol salicylate.
The three ingredients each cover a different job. Heparin sodium supports local circulation where blood has pooled under the skin. Aescin, taken from horse chestnut, is there for swelling. Glycol salicylate eases local soreness. The gel absorbs quickly and does not leave a greasy film.
What is Bentpla Gel used for?
Bentpla Gel is used on bruises, knocks and local swelling. In aesthetic clinics it is mostly handed to patients after injections to help with bruising around the treated area.
How do you apply Bentpla Gel?
Spread a thin layer over the bruised area several times a day and rub it in gently. Wash your hands afterwards.
Use it on intact skin only. It should not go on open wounds, mucous membranes or fresh needle points, so wait until the injection sites have closed before applying it around the bruise. Store the tube at 1 to 30 °C, away from sunlight.
