J Caine (J-Cain) is a 10.56% lidocaine numbing cream made by Inist BioPharma Co., now known as Vivozon, in South Korea. It’s a long-standing topical anesthetic in Korean skin clinics and comes in a 500 g jar.
What is J Caine?
J Caine is a topical anesthetic cream with 10.56% lidocaine, plus excipients and methylparaben as a preservative. It numbs the skin before cosmetic procedures.
The semi-liquid cream absorbs quickly, and only a thin layer is needed. It is simple to use without special training or complicated protocols.
What is J Caine used for?
Clinics use J Caine before procedures that are painful on untreated skin. Typical areas include lips, forehead, cheeks, nose bridge, neck, arms and thighs.
How do you apply J Caine?
Apply the cream generously to the area and seal it with plastic wrap or an occlusive dressing. After 20 to 30 minutes, remove the wrap and wipe off the rest with a clean cloth.
Numbing begins within about 15 minutes and lasts 60 to 90 minutes. The listed dose is 0.25 to 0.66 g (23 to 62 mg of lidocaine) per application. Do not use more than 2 g (184 mg of lidocaine) in 24 hours. For professional use.
