What is Elasty G Plus?
Elasty G Plus is a monophasic hyaluronic acid filler with 24 mg/mL HA and 3 mg/mL lidocaine. It has the densest, most viscous gel of the three Elasty grades.
Dongbang makes the Elasty line with its PNET cross-linking process, short for Preserved Natural Entanglement Technology. The company says it improves the cohesion and elasticity of the gel, which helps a firm grade hold its shape.
What is Elasty G Plus used for?
Elasty G Plus is used where a filler needs to give volume and lift. The current source lists contouring of the face line along with these areas:
- Cheeks
- Chin
- Deep nasolabial folds
- Forehead and nose volume
It is too firm for fine surface lines or lips. Elasty F Plus and Elasty D Plus cover those.
How is Elasty G Plus injected?
Elasty G Plus goes into the deep subcutaneous layer. The lidocaine in the gel makes the injection more comfortable, so many clinics skip a separate numbing step for smaller areas.
Nose and glabellar work carry higher vascular risk and should be left to experienced injectors. As an HA gel it can be dissolved with hyaluronidase. Elasty G Plus is for licensed medical professionals only, and patients should be screened for lidocaine allergy.
